Stevenson Children's Camp is a registered charitable organization that has been providing a residential camp experience for underprivileged children for over 50 years.
In 1950, the late Dr. W.J. Stevenson made his own dream a reality through a memorial contribution in honour of Dr. Hugh Stevenson. That gift was the cornerstone of our camp. Since then, we've carried on his legacy by providing meaningful camp experiences for local youth aged 7 to 10 whose families face economic hardship. The site includes 6 camper cabins, 3 staff cabins, a dining hall, rec hall, craft hall, pool, washrooms, wood lots, low ropes initiatives, trails, playing fields and lots more!
Stevenson Children’s Camp has seasonal facilities that are open from May to October. We have accommodations for day use and overnight stays of up to 125 people for rent to school groups, businesses, and organizations. We have an optional catering service for meals, or facilities to prepare your own. Enjoy walking our trails and many acres of free space for activities. In summer, the use of the camp pool is available for an additional fee. End your day with a cozy outdoor campfire, or in cooler temperatures, build a warming glow in the indoor fieldstone fireplace in the Rec Hall.
